About Course

Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT) Also called clinical science is a one-year program that imparts knowledge of the diagnosis treatment and prevention of diseases through the use of clinical laboratory tests. This program designed to impart in-depth knowledge and technical skills of Biochemistry, pathology, Microbiology, and Blood bank and its application in the healthcare delivery system.

Medical lab technician certification is a basic course. It enables the technician to learn about the theoretical and practical applications of procedures and equipment used in a medical laboratory environment. He/she plays an important role in the prevention and diagnosis of various diseases. Medical lab technicians work under the supervision of a physician, lab manager or medical technologist and perform laboratory tests on specimens.
